New York City

Hello everyone!

Well as you can presume, New York was absolutely fabulous. I won't bore you with all of the details, but I will list the things I did.

When I arrived, Kelly and I went out for dinner. We are both fairly picky eaters, so we thoroughly enjoyed some chicken tenders and french fries. We also did a lot of walking around that first night.

The next day, Halloween, we got up and walked around some more. We went to the top of Rockefeller Center and took a lot of amazing pictures. We also went to the high line. It is a little park walkway above the busy city streets. A peaceful place with plants and good views in the middle of the city. For lunch, we went down to Times Square and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe.We also did some shopping and went into the five story H&M. I didn't end up buying anything, but it was really fun to look around. For dinner we ended up going to Paris Baguette and I got a berry tart and apple cider. We got it to go and went back to her dorm and cried because it was One Direction's last show before their year long hiatus. To cope, we stuffed our faces with dessert and watched the One Direction movie This is Us.

The next day we did more exploring. We went iceskating at Rockefeller Center, we watched some of the New York City marathon, we went to the palace and the steps of the MET and felt like we were on set of Gossip Girl. I also tried my first macaroon and holly crap I was missing out before. They are fantastic. I had a coffee and lemon flavored ones. Overall, my weekend was fantastic.

Now, I am about to head to class. Reality has set back in and I am drowning in stress and homework.

I'll update soon. Thanks for reading!

Until Tomorrow,
